According to Brittany Murphy’s close people, she has been saying that"a high-powered Hollywood player" is stalking her and even accuses this person for her husband, Simon Monjack, going missing for 10 days in April. Howeve, the absence of Simon coincided with being jailed for 10 days for an expired U.S.visa, reports the Daily News. A source said, “When he came back, he had head injuries. “He was pale and sometimes had trouble standing.” Murphy’s staff also claimed the actress wasn’t able to pay him as the money had been used for ransom.

Brittany Murphy is set to star in Myriad Pictures' fantasy comedy The Other Side. She will perform a young graduate student working at a scientific centre on a distant island who will reveal an abnormal mystery. The mysterious revolves around a community that hides a secret about a tragedy that happened years before. The cast includes Tim Roth, Jim Broadbent, Giovanni Ribisi, and Lilli Taylor. Producer David Michaels will be at the helm of the project which is due November.

Brittany Murphy will lend her voice to Peter Pan's fairy Tinkerbell in a new computer-created movie. According to Disney bosses the new film is expected to be released late next year (08). Actress Julia Roberts had previously gave her name to the magic angel when she performed Tinkerbell in 1991.
